We brought Gulliver home in August of 2016 (listen to the episode) + while he was in great condition, he needed a little sprucing up before he was ready for us to move in + hit the road. He’s a 36-foot Holiday Rambler Ambassador with two slides, one in the bedroom + one in the living area. Now that we’ve finished most of the projects around here, we’re happy to say Gulliver truly feels like home! You’ll be seeing a lot of him on the Swept Together Instagram, but in case you wanted to see his grand transformation for yourself, here you go.

We used the logo + branding done for us by the lovely Rebecca of Rose’s Arsenal as a jumping-off point for the color palette. The first step was painting the cabinets white + replacing the hardware from brass to oil rubbed bronze. Then Christian got to work replacing the carpet with vinyl + the sofa with a desk, while Annabelle upholstered all the fabric cushions + valances (with a little help from our friends; listen to the episode). Last came all the decorative touches with a new rug + art on the walls, which made the place feel homier. It was a big project but our little home on wheels now happens to be one of our favorite places on earth!
